FUJIO CUP QUIZ 2019
The FCQ is an exclusive Quiz on Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine for students and scholars from Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and Medicine conducted every year as a part of NCRM NICHE. The FCQ was named after renowned Japanese Physician Dr. Fujio Takayama (1923 ~2016) and has been conducted this year for the XIII consecutive time.
The FCQ 2019 was conducted in the following manner:
- The Preliminary Selection was based on a two-step - online test and a regenerative medicine based assignment among 57 teams from different countries.
- Among these 57 teams, 19 teams from four countries were selected for the On-site rounds in Tokyo, Japan during the NCRM NICHE 2019 event on 14 & 15 October, 2019.
- The finals of the Fujio Cup Quiz (FCQ) during the NCRM NICHE 2019 event on 14th October, 2019 saw teams from Indonesia and India competing for the prestigious Fujio cup
- The Fujio Cup was won by the team comprising of Reshma K Romanas & Aayushi Agrahari from Kasturba Medical College, India.
- Sandeep Rao Kordcal & Anil Dsouza from Father Muller Medical College, India turned out to be the 1st Runner up.
